Report scam or impersonation

Use this section to report marketplace impersonation, malware-response fraud, extortion scams, or suspicious payment requests. Fast reporting helps us block abuse, protect clients, and preserve evidence for law enforcement or legal review.

What to include in a scam report

  • Scammer identity details (email, domain, wallet, username, phone, or chat handle).
  • Message screenshots, invoice requests, and transaction references.
  • Timestamp, timezone, and sequence of communication events.
  • Any malware sample or attachment references associated with the fraud attempt.

Known scam patterns

  • Fake malware removal vendors demanding upfront crypto-only payments.
  • Impersonation of MalwareXpose team members through unofficial domains or messaging apps.
  • Fraudulent offers to 'decrypt files instantly' without verifiable technical analysis.
  • Phishing forms requesting direct sample uploads to unmanaged third-party drives.
