Use this section to report marketplace impersonation, malware-response fraud, extortion scams, or suspicious payment requests. Fast reporting helps us block abuse, protect clients, and preserve evidence for law enforcement or legal review.
What to include in a scam report
- Scammer identity details (email, domain, wallet, username, phone, or chat handle).
- Message screenshots, invoice requests, and transaction references.
- Timestamp, timezone, and sequence of communication events.
- Any malware sample or attachment references associated with the fraud attempt.
Known scam patterns
- Fake malware removal vendors demanding upfront crypto-only payments.
- Impersonation of MalwareXpose team members through unofficial domains or messaging apps.
- Fraudulent offers to 'decrypt files instantly' without verifiable technical analysis.
- Phishing forms requesting direct sample uploads to unmanaged third-party drives.
